9100 INTEGRATED AMPLIFIER
Function should come before frills and the PLINIUS 9100
exemplifies this notion.
It is a purpose built design where each material or component choice has been
made always aiming for the maximum possible performance.
Power is an important part of this amplifier's character and with a generous 120
Watts per Channel the 9100 should satisfy even the most demanding applications.
In fact you may never approach the maximum output of the 9100 but if required
there is comfort in the fact that it is there and available. The circuit of the
9100 is based on the PLINIUS Odeon Amplifier Module and shares the much praised
PLINIUS House sound.
The 9100 is a specialist amplifier ready to
combine with the abilities of a new generation of components from specialists
around the world. It will prove revealing of any improvements made at source in
a system and has the ability to drive any worthwhile loudspeakers with authority
and finesse.
Although designed primarily for high quality reproduction of music, the 9100
will enhance the performance of both home theatre and multi-room systems by
virtue of its flexible design.

The 9100 integrated amplifier is one of our most compact
circuit board designs. The thin input board along the rear of the amplifier
consists of tape lockout protection and input buffer circuitry, as well as
record and source selectors, and all the inputs along the rear panel. The large
main circuit board underneath incorporates the left and right power amps, all 3
separate power supplies, the microcontroller circuitry, and the line stage to
the front right of the circuit board.
